Bramble Vine Comics

I'm in the final stretch in completing my latest book, Gadgeteria #1. I have a preview up in the comics gallery now, so have a peek and feel free to let me know what you think.

The image here is the ink work I did for the cover. I've got an amazing guest artist to color the cover for me. I'll post more details about that further in the project, but I'm very excited about how this is going to look.

The current plan is to have the finished book sent off to the printer by the end of next week and so far I'm on track to do that. However, that means I won't have it in hand for STAPLE next weekend. So, I've spent some time finishing off the first half of the book, which includes two complete stories, into a mini comic. It'll be like a preview issue and I'll have those at my table in Austin for STAPLE. Please stop by and have a look. I'm really looking forward to launching this new series and seeing how people like it!

Here's a quick shot I took this evening of some of the pages I have done for my next project. I'm planning on having it finished and sent off to the printer by the end of February. However, I won't have this book in hand in time for STAPLE on March 1st. So, what I plan to do is to take half the book and print it out into a mini-comic and have that at the show as a sort of preview copy. If you're interested be sure to find my table. I'll have the originals there too for people to look through if they so desire.
